Job Summary
Act as a member of the surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse, working with surgeons to deliver patient care before, during, and after procedures. Scrub across service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Maintain strong communication skills, make calls, and multitask independently while holding Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA certifications, plus current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association. Work evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment
