Job Summary
Act as a Certified Surgical Technician under the direction of a Registered Nurse, scrubbing service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma. Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery while maintaining excellent verbal and written communication skills. Make calls, multitask, and work independently across general, thoracic, and trauma cases. Work evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment
- Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
