Job Summary
Fellowship-trained, board-certified Surgical Oncologist sought to join MercyOne Iowa Cancer Center to support an expanding statewide cancer service line. Role involves solid tumor surgery across GI/hepatobiliary/pancreatic/soft tissue malignancies, including cytoreduction, HIPEC, Whipple, SLN mapping, and robotic-assisted techniques on a clinical volume that leverages DaVinci Xi platforms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in tumor-board discussions, and contribute to innovation and research through clinical trials and evidence-based protocols. Operate with block OR time, clinic half-days, and use EPIC for EMR; opportunities for teaching and advanced therapies (IMRT/IGRT) and integrative supportive services. Competitive compensation includes a base salary of $600,000 plus a $200,000 recruitment incentive, moving allowance up to $15,000, 403(b) with match, CME allowance, and day-one benefits.
