Job Summary
Conduct complex general surgical oncology procedures specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary and melanoma/soft tissue sarcoma cases at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City. Manage clinical practice within a collaborative environment that supports a strong work-family culture and integrates with the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. Participate in system- and statewide research initiatives based on candidate interest. Requires board certification or eligibility in complex general surgical oncology following fellowship training.
Required Qualifications
- board-certified or board-eligible Complex General Surgical Oncologist
- specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) and melanoma/soft tissue sarcoma oncologic surgery
- clinical interest and experience in complex general surgical oncology
- experience in disease of the pancreas
- experience in disease of the liver
- experience in disease of the GI tract
- experience in melanoma/soft tissue sarcoma
- completion of fellowship training (complex general surgical oncology)
