Job Summary
RN position as an OR/ Surgical Nurse providing patient-centered care within Yale New Haven Health System; adherence to ANA Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice; leadership, collaboration, and effective communication with patients, families, and health care team; BSN preferred and CT licensure required; ensure quality outcomes and professional accountability in perioperative care; role includes practicing under the YNHHS Professional Practice Model and contributing to evidence-based nursing care in the operating room.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Connecticut
- BCLS certification required within one month of hire or current certification
Additional Requirements
- CT RN licensure required
- Connecticut State practice standards application
