Surgical Nurse (RN) in the OR division for Yale New Haven Health System. Responsible for applying the nursing process within ANA standards, providing patient-centered care, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring ethical and culturally congruent practice. Key duties include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluation, with emphasis on leadership, collaboration, education, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Connecticut RN licensure, and BCLS certification; BSN preferred and certification encouraged. Located in Manchester, CT with in-person clinical duties in the operating room.
