Job Summary
RN in the OR/Surgical setting providing care in alignment with ANA standards and YNHHS values. Responsibilities include applying nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinating care with the health care team, promoting health teaching and safe environments, leadership and collaboration, ethical and culturally congruent practice, and contributing to quality outcomes. Requires BSN preferred, Connecticut RN licensure, and BCLS certification within one month of hire; SPIRE clinical advancement encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
