Job Summary
Surgical Nurse (RN) in an OR setting providing patient-centered care under ANA standards. Responsibilities include applying nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinating care, health teaching, and collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Requires adherence to ethics and professional practice, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and participation in SPIRE advancement activities. Education: BSN preferred; CT licensure as an RN and current BCLS certification required within one month of hire; clinical specialty certification encouraged. Location: Fort Worth, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification encouraged
