Surgical Nurse (RN) / OR Surgical RN

The role focuses on providing professional nursing care as a Registered Nurse in the OR, guided by ANA standards and the YNHHS framework. Responsibilities include applying a holistic, patient-centered approach, coordinating with patients and the health care team, and leading and participating in evidence-based nursing practices to achieve quality outcomes. The RN works within the Connecticut licensure framework, adheres to ethical practice, and strives to advance through clinical development programs while maintaining patient safety and effective communication and collaboration with the care team.
