Job Summary
Surgical RN role within Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) operating room. Provides professional nursing care to patients by following the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, with emphasis on collaboration with patients, families, and health care team. Responsibilities emphasize leadership, delegation, communication, teamwork, ethics, culturally congruent practice, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and professional development. Requires Connecticut RN licensure; BSN preferred; current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire. Experienced OR RNs encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
