OR Surgical RN, a Registered Professional Nurse in Yale New Haven Health System, provides patient-centered nursing care in the operating room, following ANA Scope and Standards and the YNHHS Professional Practice Model. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), collaborating with the health care team, ensuring cultural congruence, ethics, leadership, and ongoing education.
