Job Summary
RN in the OR setting providing professional nursing care per ANA standards, with emphasis on assessment, planning, collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team, health teaching, and coordination of care. Role requires leadership, ethical practice, culturally congruent care, and commitment to quality outcomes within Yale New Haven Health System. Must maintain licensure in Connecticut and adhere to organizational practice model and SPIRE advancement expectations; QS and professional performance expectations apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CT license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- BCLS certification (or obtain within one month of hire)
- BSN preferred
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
