Surgical Nurse (RN) / OR Surgical RN

Registered Nurse (RN) in the operating room (OR) providing patient-centered perioperative care within the Yale New Haven Health System. The RN upholds professional standards per ANA Scope and Standards, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act; demonstrates leadership, collaboration, and effective communication; engages in planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; supports quality outcomes and patient safety; requires CT licensure, BCLS within one month of hire, and BSN preferred; experienced OR RN encouraged; SPIRE clinical advancement program; physical demands include standing, lifting (up to 300 pounds), and exposure to infectious diseases.
