Job Summary
Professional RN in the OR providing care per ANA/CT standards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, leading nursing care planning, and ensuring patient-centered outcomes. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinating care, health teaching, and adherence to ethical and professional standards. Requires CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, BCLS certification, and potential participation in SPIRE advancement program; experience in perioperative settings and commitment to quality, safety, and culturally congruent practice are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification (or to obtain within one month of hire)
- Experience encouraged to advance through SPIRE clinical advancement program
