Surgical Nurse (RN) / OR Surgical RN

Surgical Nurse (RN) for OR/operating room in a Yale New Haven Health System environment. The RN provides patient-centered care within ANA standards of practice and professional practice models, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation, coordination of care, health teaching and health promotion. Requires licensure as an RN in Connecticut, graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), and current BCLS certification (to be obtained within one month of hire). Emphasis on leadership, collaboration, ethics, cultural congruence, and ongoing professional development; experience with perioperative nursing and evidence-based practice is encouraged. Located in New York City region per posting hint; role is in-person as an OR nurse.
