Surgical Nurse (RN) / OR Surgical RN

OR RN responsibilities align with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; coordination of care; health teaching and promotion; and ethical, culturally congruent practice. The RN provides patient-centered care within Yale New Haven Health System, requiring Connecticut RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BCLS; active engagement in leadership, collaboration, and evidence-based practice within a high-stakes surgical environment. The role emphasizes professional accountability, governance, and ongoing professional development through SPIRE and related programs.
