Surgical Nurse (RN) / OR Surgical RN

OR Surgical RN provides professional nursing care in the operating room setting per ANA standards, collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate with patients and families, and promote health while upholding the organization’s mission and values. Responsibilities emphasize nursing process components (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), leadership and delegation, ethics, culturally congruent practice, education, and evidence-based practice, with opportunities for SPIRE clinical advancement and professional development. The role requires a CT-licensed RN with BSN preferred and current BCLS certification, preparing for a safe, patient-centered perioperative experience.
