Job Summary
Surgical RN position in the Operating Room providing professional perioperative nursing care in alignment with ANA Standards of Practice. The role emphasizes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with the patient and healthcare team, with emphasis on ethics, culturally congruent practice, leadership, and patient-centered outcomes. Requires Connecticut RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BCLS certification within one month of hire; includes opportunities for advancement through SPIRE.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.
- Experience: RN role; SPIRE clinical advancement program encouraged.
