Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse in the Surgical MedSurg unit, provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. responsibilities include assessing the patient on admission and each shift, performing procedures and documenting care, administering prescribed medications, monitoring therapeutic response, responding to patient needs, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Requires Basic Life Support within 30 days of start; degree in nursing (ADN or BSN) is expected; excellent communication and nursing assessment skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
