Job Summary
Review cases and preference cards, monitor operating room equipment, and plan the acquisition of implants and supplies for surgical patients. Coordinate activities between the inventory team, sterile processing, surgical services, and business management to ensure appropriate necessities are available at the right time. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to facilitate case flow and assess changes in the surgical schedule. Utilize EMR and analytical systems including EPIC, OneReport, Tecsys, and Lawson to audit quality and maintain knowledge of organizational rules. Properly dispose of damaged items or return them to inventory. Work 40 weekly hours during day shifts with a salary range of $20.88 - $31.40.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or post-secondary education
- Three to five years of experience as a LPN
- Three to five years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Three to five years of experience in inventory management
