Job Summary
Surgical ICU Supervisor Registered Nurse responsible for directing nursing care in the unit, coordinating admissions and discharges to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care; collaborates with management to create an environment that supports improved outcomes, staff training and development, scheduling and staffing, inventory control, and adherence to policies; leads initiatives to engage staff through rounds and service initiatives, and provides guidance on interviewing, selecting and training new staff to maintain a competitive, patient-focused unit.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
