Job Summary
Surgical ICU Registered Nurse is sought to provide patient-centered care in the Surgical ICU, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, comprehensive nursing care. Responsibilities include performing procedures and monitoring as ordered, documenting care in the medical record, educating patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures, promoting healthy lifestyle changes, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives to meet or exceed clinical outcomes. Candidates must have an RN license, an Associate Degree, and at least 1 year of acute hospital ICU experience, with ACLS and BLS to be obtained within 30 days of employment. The role participates in a broad benefits program and is based in Denton, TX, with in-person responsibilities at a tertiary care facility within the HCA Healthcare network.
