Job Summary
Surgical ICU Registered Nurse provides patient-centered care in the Surgical ICU, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting care, and educating patients and families. Responsibilities include performing procedures and monitoring per physician orders, teaching patients and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, and driving evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvements to meet clinical outcomes. Must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing with ACLS/BCLS certifications within 30 days and have at least 1 year of acute hospital ICU experience. Required Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1+ year of Acute Hospital ICU experience REQUIRED
