Job Summary
Promote and sell Medtronic products and services within a designated geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Develop, establish, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals. Identify potential customers, assess needs, and provide products/services to maximize benefits. Facilitate and conduct education about company products/services. Conduct market research on customer and competitive activity. Implement market development plans/strategies as needed and relay feedback on product modifications to internal stakeholders (R&D, operations, marketing). Typical direct-contributor professional sales role focused on building and maintaining client relationships, developing new opportunities, implementing sales strategies, and closing transactions. Factors include: entry-level, Territory/Customer-focused, independent role, high emphasis on customer-facing activities, and training/education responsibilities.
