Job Summary
Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload while promoting best practice and contributing to quality improvements. Act as a Surgical First Assistant managing a heavy caseload of general, gynaecology, and bariatric surgery, working as a Scrub Practitioner across various specialities. Requires NMC or HCPC registration, minimum 6 months NHS experience, and a BSc or diploma from a nursing program. Offers regular and ad hoc shifts with excellent agency pay, NMC revalidation support, and free mandatory training and DBS checks.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Surgical First Assistant
- A minimum of 6 months experience in the NHS
- A valid NMC/HCPC registration with rights to work in the UK
- BSc or diploma from a nursing program
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
