Job Summary
Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex caseload while promoting best practice and contributing to quality improvements. Act as a Surgical First Assistant across a heavy workload of general, gynaecology, and bariatric surgery, working as a Scrub Practitioner across various specialities. This role requires NMC or HCPC registration, at least six months of NHS experience, and a BSc or nursing diploma. Regular and flexible shifts are available at The Harbour Hospital, Poole, Dorset, with excellent agency pay and mandatory training support.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Surgical First Assistant
- A minimum of 6 months experience in the NHS
- A valid NMC/HCPC registration with rights to work in the UK
- BSc or diploma from a nursing program
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
