Surgical First Assistant (Certified) - Operating Room

Conduct direct patient care before, during, and after surgery by utilizing physician preference cards, preparing room supplies, and assisting with patient positioning, draping, and specimen collection. Apply and utilize special equipment safely while maintaining aseptic technique and performing correct counts per hospital policy. Anticipate and adjust rapidly to instrument needs, assist in maintaining instruments through proper cleaning and sterilization, and collaborate with the surgical team to deliver care in a safe and efficient manner.
