Job Summary
Confirm cases, coordinate with patients, and explain procedures to set the stage for success. Deliver expert support throughout procedures by managing patient positioning, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating the surgeon's needs. Assist with safe patient transfers, provide detailed PACU handoffs, and ensure accurate documentation after every case. Contribute to training, education, and process improvement initiatives to elevate clinical performance. Expand capabilities by learning new surgical specialties. Requires 50% First Assist and 50% Scrub Tech duties across General, GYN, and Orthopedics (laparoscopic and robotic). Two years of surgical assisting experience and an accredited program graduation are mandatory.

- MS Office proficiency
- EMR proficiency
- Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Assist program
- Current state license where practicing
- Ability to lift, sit, stand, or squat
