Job Summary
Surgical Dental Assistant to support the doctor and dental lab operations in a fast-growing practice focused on dentures and implants. Roles include chairside assistance during surgical and dental procedures, setting up and breaking down operatory equipment, obtaining and documenting patient information, taking CBCT/panoramic images, educating patients on procedures and post-operative care, sterilizing instruments, managing inventory, and supporting front desk tasks as needed. Requires 1-2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of implant procedures (All-on-Four/overdentures), infection control (OSHA/HIPAA), and imaging proficiency. Opportunities include comprehensive benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule with compensation in the $22-$28/hour range.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience as Surgical Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of implant procedures (All-on-Four and overdentures)
- Proficient in CBCT and panoramic imaging
- HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- CPR certification and X-ray certification preferred
- Sedation monitoring certification preferred
- Experience with Open Dental software a plus
