Surgical Dental Assistant

Job Summary
Provide intraoperative support to oral surgeons and ensure a clean, organized treatment room. Prepare patients for oral surgery, sterilize and maintain instruments, assist with procedures, monitor patient comfort and vital signs, and maintain a sterile environment. Educate patients on post-operative care, oral health, and precautions; handle patient records, scheduling, and billing documentation; assist with inventory and equipment maintenance. Proficiency with dental software and strong communication and organizational skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid X-ray license
- Previous experience as a dental assistant, particularly in Oral Surgery, is highly desirable
