Surgical Coordinator - $3,000 Sign-on-Bonus

Coordinate and perform all designated aspects of organ recovery, preservation, and packaging in compliance with LifeLink policies and applicable regulations. Prepare the operating room for recovery by ensuring all required surgical supplies, instruments, and preservation solutions are available, then serve as the surgical first assist during donor organ recovery procedures. Operate, monitor, and adjust machine perfusion systems to optimize organ preservation and assess organ viability while troubleshooting technical issues. Maintain strict chain of custody, secure storage, and timely transport of specimens to designated pathology or laboratory services, ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Provide on-call coverage and support for deceased donor procurement, organ preservation, and related activities, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Facilitate real-time communication with hospital, transplant, and medical examiner personnel while ensuring timely and accurate completion of all required documentation.
