Job Summary
Greet patients, introduce them to premium vision correction options, and deliver comprehensive counseling on surgical procedures and financial protocols. Schedule ophthalmic surgeries at the ambulatory surgery center and local hospitals, while managing pre-surgery testing and post-op appointments. Verify surgical authorizations with the insurance team and communicate special equipment needs to the surgery center. Close sales on vision correction services and review internal or third-party financing options like Alphaeon or Care Credit. Ensure clear communication between patients, surgeons, and staff throughout the process.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent Salesmanship and Closing Skills
- Customer Service Excellence
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, G-Suite, and Windows environment
- Team Player
- Demonstrates superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Competency using EPM / EHR
- EHR Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- One year medical reception experience preferred
- Sales experience is a plus
