Job Summary
Assist oral surgeons during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment while monitoring patient vital signs and providing postoperative care and education. Maintain a clean, professional environment by ensuring operatories are sanitized, supplies are adequate, and equipment is maintained in compliance with company policies. Communicate with patients in-person and by phone to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality clinical care. Document patient encounters and surgical procedures accurately, attend regular team meetings, and support monthly office checks for crash carts, fire extinguishers, and controlled substance inventory. Work in a fast-paced dental office environment with a commitment to patient safety standards and established protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic life support certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Knowledge of oral surgery procedures
- Safety procedures required, including protection to minimize the risks from X-rays
- Potential long hours standing
Desired Qualifications

- Previous clinical experience
- Experience as an oral surgery assistant
- Experience as a dental assistant
- Strong computer skills
