Maintain a sterile environment by applying aseptic principles and performing scrubbing duties, including suctioning, tying, camera holding, and retracting during procedures. Assist the surgeon with patient positioning, closure of all skin layers, and intraoperative coordination while organizing supplies and equipment for efficiency. Perform preceptor duties for medical students, residents, and other learners, and manage room turnover and autoclave operations. Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to safety policies and legal requirements.
