Surgical Assistant III

Experienced oral surgery assistant to support our oral surgeon before, during, and after each dental procedure. Responsibilities include proper instrument cleaning, autoclave operation, instrument identification, surgical tray setup, room setup/breakdown for IV anesthesia and surgery, drug protocols, pre-op setup, chart review, nitrous oxide setup, patient positioning and calming techniques, airway support for sedated patients, post-anesthesia monitoring, and coordination of treatment plans with referring dentists. Non-surgical duties include restocking supplies, taking vital signs, scheduling, EMR entry, X-rays/scans, OSHA compliance, and patient consultations. Must have 5+ years of clinical surgical assistant experience, training from a surgical assistant program, and certifications including BLS, AART, DAANCE, IV administration, with CBCT/intraoral scanning training. Preferred 3+ years of people-management experience. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.
