Surgery Technologist II/III

Prepare for surgical procedures by selecting and placing instruments, supplies, and equipment while ensuring good working order and troubleshooting malfunctions. Anticipate surgeon needs by passing instruments, retracting tissue, and operating equipment, maintaining competency to scrub for at least two surgical specialties. Demonstrate aseptic technique throughout the procedure, dispose of sharps and trash, and participate in counting instruments and sponges. Assist with OR turnover, replenish supplies, and clean operating rooms as assigned. Provide training and orientation to surgical technology staff and students when required. Perform administrative tasks and ensure all surgeon preference cards and pick lists are accurate. Execute all functions according to established policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
