Job Summary
Coordinate surgeries and manage end-to-end scheduling for orthopedic care. Act as liaison between patients and providers, booking pre- and post-op appointments, handling documentation and medical records, and processing referrals and authorizations. Maintain accurate medical records, reschedule appointments as needed, and communicate with call centers and case managers to ensure smooth patient flow. Requires strong organization, detail-orientation, and excellent written and verbal communication; experience with EMR and Microsoft Office is preferred. Valid driver's license and vehicle may be required for travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 3 years of experience in an office setting, medical setting preferred
- Surgical scheduling experience and/or LPN license and experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
