Surgery Scheduler

Ensure the safe, accurate, and timely collection and submission of necessary surgical documentation while coordinating clinic and surgery schedules for assigned providers to prevent conflicts. Collaborate with internal and external operating rooms, ASCs, and the pre-certification team to submit surgical clearances and insurance information prior to procedures. Act as the family's liaison to manage education, authorizations, and post-op appointments for outpatient and inpatient surgeries. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient safety regulations. Requires Epic experience, medical terminology knowledge, and 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
