Surgery Scheduler

Schedule patient appointments for designated areas according to Therapy Services protocols and prepare daily profiles, printing and organizing charts by provider. Complete registration processes for all patients, collecting copayments and demographic information while updating the practice management system and scanning insurance cards. Perform medical reception duties including answering telephones, screening calls, and filing documents into electronic patient records. Make outgoing calls to reschedule appointments, provide reminders, and contact patients who missed appointments to reschedule. This role requires 1+ years of surgical or hospital scheduling experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge of medical terminology and billing. The position is onsite at the North Little Rock clinic.
