Job Summary
Maintains scheduling for surgical and specialized procedures for assigned department(s). Coordinates surgical services with physicians' offices and other related departments; verifies room and equipment availability; documents patient procedures and physician information, logs completed procedures, and may generate a surgical procedure charge sheet. Requires strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, data entry and scheduling program proficiency, and excellent verbal/written communication to interact with physicians, staff, patients and families. Flexible, cooperative team member able to prioritize tasks and maintain composure; full-time schedule (Days, Monday–Friday, 40 hours).
