Job Summary
Schedule patients for surgery, in-office procedures, and follow-up appointments while confirming demographics, dates, times, and medical diagnoses. Review pre-op instructions with patients regarding medications, allergies, labs, and treatment plans. Gather insurance information to verify coverage and ensure all paperwork, including consent forms, is complete and on file. Answer telephone inquiries, coordinate medical clearance when necessary, and monitor the schedule to work directly with physicians. Adhere to Advanced Pain Care policies and maintain patient confidentiality. Requires high school diploma, one year of surgery scheduling experience, and knowledge of EMR, CPT codes, and medical terminology. Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
