Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in diverse acute settings while delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs. Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments, document interventions to achieve patient outcomes, and revise care plans based on multidisciplinary evaluative data. Lead process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance within a High Reliability Organization framework. Requires current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of recent OR experience in an acute care hospital. Commitment to on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
- At least 2 years of recent OR experience as an RN in an acute care hospital setting
- Commitment to on-call shifts
- 30-minute call response time to include driving, parking, changing, and report
