Surgery RN

Surgery RN provides perioperative and operating room nursing care in a hospital setting (6:00 AM–4:30 PM with a rotating day off; call stay requirements). Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients in the OR, participation in a multidisciplinary team, and leadership in process-improvement activities to enhance clinical quality and patient outcomes. Must hold an Ohio RN license and BLS certification; prior OR experience required; BSN preferred after five years of employment. A BSN is required at 5 years of employment per the posting, and the role involves coordinating care, delegating tasks to LPNs/UAPs, and adhering to Ohio Nurse Practice Act guidelines.
