Job Summary
Surgery - Plastic Physician role on Long Island demands a Plastic Surgeon skilled in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures within a high-volume Center of Excellence. Immediate access to a large patient population with extensive post-bariatric body contouring, including abdominal contouring, flank/body lift, Brachioplasty, thigh lift, Mastopexy, Breast reconstruction/augmentation, facial aesthetics (facelift/neck lift/blepharoplasty), dermal fillers, and neuromodulators. The position is part of an integrated, multidisciplinary surgical group with strong referral networks, opportunities for partnership, significant bonus potential tied to productivity, and comprehensive malpractice coverage. Requires MD or DO, completed plastic surgery residency via integrated or independent pathways, ABPS board eligibility/certification, NY license eligibility, and successful USMLE/COMLEX exams.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency via Integrated Plastic Surgery or Independent pathway
- Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical license in New York State
- Completion of all required USMLE and/or COMLEX examinations
- Strong commitment to reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery with emphasis on body contouring (post-bariatric experience preferred)
