Job Summary
Oculoplastic ophthalmology surgeon sought as a full-time faculty member on the Clinical Educator Track to join Loyola University Health System and Loyola University Chicago. The role aims to expand a busy practice with opportunities for collaboration across ENT, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma, and Maxillofacial Surgery. Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching in a residency program (Ophthalmology Residency), and engagement in academic activities with a track record of teaching and potential clinical research. The position offers well-equipped minor OR facilities at Maywood and Burr Ridge, relocation expense reimbursement, and salary commensurate with academic rank and experience. Academic rank opportunities begin at Assistant Professor or higher, with rank/tenure/salary determined by experience. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
- Eligibility for an unrestricted Illinois medical license
- ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency
- Experience in teaching residents/medical students
- Demonstrated interest in clinical research
