Job Summary
Breast Surgeon responsibilities include providing high-value, top-quality breast surgical care within the physician group, performing 4 clinic days and 1 day in the OR per week, localizing breast lesions, and coordinating reconstruction with a plastic surgeon (no free flap). Fellowship training in breast surgery is highly preferred, with MD/DO credentials, DEA registration, and state medical licensure. The role supports flexible time away, CME funds, student loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. The work environment is in Utah with Salt Lake City as the primary location, under CommonSpirit Mountain Region.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in breast surgery highly preferred
- Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty
- Unrestricted DEA registration
- Board certification or eligibility in the appropriate specialty (by a board acceptable to Hospital)
- Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
- Doctorate MD or DO required
- Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
