Surgery Liaison - Veterinary Technician

Surgery Liaison Technician coordinates surgical consultations, pre-operative and post-discharge client communication, and follow-up to ensure successful recovery. Duties include performing phone triage for potential surgical patients, creating patient estimates and surgical documentation, maintaining medical records, coordinating with referring veterinarians, answering questions on medications and procedures, and providing daily updates to hospitalized patients’ families. The role supports a surgical team and collaborates with surgeons and surgery technicians, with responsibilities in appointments, inventory, and ordering. Part-time position with weekend commitments and some holiday shifts; located at East Greenwich, RI and Swansea, MA facilities. Required: Tech school graduate or minimum 2 years veterinary experience; High school diploma or GED. Veterinary Technician certification is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and ability to work both independently and in a team, plus comfort with a paperless computer system.
