Evaluate patients' physical and mental health, gather relevant medical history, and prepare them for surgery, including assessment of surgical site, airway quality, and administration of pre-operative medications and IV fluids. Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall condition until point of discharge, while assessing pain needs, managing complications, and verifying informed consent. Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and families, conduct venipuncture, and ensure proper supplies and equipment are ready. Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and communicate effectively with surgeons and the surgical team. This full-time role supports Regent Surgical Health's proprietary ASC ownership models by ensuring patient safety and quality care throughout the perioperative period.
