Job Summary
Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician role joining a large, hospital-employed cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon group in Fort Wayne, IN. Focus on advanced heart failure surgery including heart transplant, ventricular assist devices (VADs), and ECMO, with service lines that include TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, and a broad array of clinics and imaging within the cardiac service line. The physician will join a 6-member team with opportunities to tailor responsibilities to strengths, participate in research opportunities, and receive a comprehensive compensation package that may include relocation, signing/commencement bonuses, CME/licensure support, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery
- BE/BC Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon
- Interest in advanced heart failure surgery including Heart Transplant, VAD, ECMO
- Ability to join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to clinical care and possibly research
