Job Summary
Board-certified cardio-thoracic surgeon sought to join an established 6-surgeon group in Birmingham with a focus on full-spectrum vascular, thoracic, cardiac surgery and advanced heart failure procedures. Responsibilities include performing TEVAR, EVAR, TAVR, mini-valves, and managing complex cases; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; support program expansion; participate in call 1:6; contribute to Heart Clinic and hospital services; licensure in Alabama required or willingness to obtain.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery
- Licensed in the State of Alabama or willingness to obtain license
- 3-5 years of experience
- Provide a full spectrum of vascular, thoracic, cardiac surgery, and advanced heart failure surgery
- Call 1:6
- Experience with TEVAR, EVAR, TAVR, mini-valves, ECMO (coming soon)
- Licensed in Alabama or eligible for licensure
